You look very happy :D
Awesome landscape but looks very cold!
Wow 2800m high? And you did this in one day? Thats quite high up. I've never been over 2000m before.
Nice one glad you had good time, something you will never forget.

Great so a bit of an adventure. That wouldn't be much fun falling down a crevasse! But Canada looks beautiful!
I love tramping and mountain biking. I mostly do it for the danger aspect when you are doing these things you constantly have to evaluate real life risks, eg if I fall I could really hurt myself or die, and I get a real good buzz off it.
Plus the scenery here in NZ is superb.
The hardest thing for me is to get out of the door...

haha know what you mean mate, me and a few buddies might be heading down to Queenstown next year for a snow trip. I love scaring myself silly but just finding motivation is the hard part! . If you ever get the chance give snowboarding a shot you will love it feels like your flying :gunsmilie:

Queenstown is great, but I only stayed overnight when I went down to Te Anau and over to Milford Sounds. The whole place is geared towards tourists though so expect prices to be high, but that shouldn't matter for you as you will be converting Aussie dollar.
I have never tried skiing or snowboarding before but I would love to give it a go some day.
