So over the last two weeks, I completed a personal project inspired by others. The project was to grab a Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25 and hook up a motion sensor to it. The idea being the gun will shoot when motion is detected.

I had set this up so that Cambo will get shot at when he got home, but he foiled it since he saw my ass hanging out through a doorway (and I'm not that fat!). He set it off anyway, trying to catch the darts. I tried to get him again 10 minutes later, but it turns out he put a dart down the gun barrel, so it worked but jammed :verymad: That is why I do not yet have a video of Cambo getting pwned. Cambo also knew I was nearly finished, so I guess it was predictable also.

So, I thought screw the motion sensor thing for a moment. I'll shoot him manually (It's normal trigger firing mode). This also failed, as it turns our there was a second dam dart that Cambo put down the barrel :verymad:

I have actually got Cambo a few times since the above, but not on video. The video I did get was of my sisters, and her friend who got caught by total surprise since they didn't know I had finished making it! I will be uploading these to YouTube and my website shortly. Just need to make a few edits.

Read about me making it here: http://www.ashrat.ne...erf-vulcan-gun/

This is the first video I done. This was aimed at my sister when she got home, but got her friend instead.

haha nicely done!! That certainly gave him a bit of a shock!
I thought his hand sticking out might of made it go off but it worked perfectly!
It must of taken a lot of time and patience to get that working right.
Are you able to set firing rate any faster?

BAHAHA BOB, that isn't a him, it's a her!

The firing rate isn't something to set, its just how much current/voltage is going through the motor. I would test it and find out how much it is, but I have to take the gun apart to do that. Not going to happen anytime soon.
